Service description

fuel.co.uk is a free fuel price information tool provided by New Reg Ltd (registered in England and Wales, Company No. 03143909). The service allows you to search for current petrol and diesel prices at UK forecourts and optionally set email alerts for price changes near a chosen postcode.

The service is provided free of charge, without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability or price accuracy.

Data source and accuracy

Fuel prices are sourced from the GOV.UK Fuel Finder, published under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Under the UK government's statutory scheme, forecourt operators are required to report any price change within 30 minutes of it taking effect.

We ingest this data approximately every 30 minutes. Despite this, prices displayed on fuel.co.uk may not always reflect the exact price at the pump at the moment you visit a forecourt. Prices can change between data updates, and errors in the underlying government data are outside our control.

Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Acceptable use

You may use fuel.co.uk for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You must not:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the site using automated tools.
• Use the service to build a competing product or redistribute our data commercially.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the site's infrastructure.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Price alerts

Price alerts are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice, and you should not make financial decisions solely on the basis of an alert email. Alert delivery depends on third-party email infrastructure; we cannot guarantee delivery times or reliability.

You can unsubscribe from alerts at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any alert email.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, New Reg Ltd shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:

• Reliance on any price information shown on the site.
• Inaccurate, delayed, or missing fuel price data.
• Interruption to or unavailability of the service.
• Any decision made on the basis of information provided by fuel.co.uk.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of fuel.co.uk shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
